One measure of a person is how they exercise power. There’s been a lot of chatter on how small a man Donald Trump looks in court. Trump the man, compared to his Lilliputian tormentors, towers over them as Gulliver did in Jonathan Swift’s novel, “Gulliver’s Travels.”
Lilliputians are described as “men six inches in height but possessing all the pretension and self-importance of full sized men. They are mean and nasty, vicious, morally corrupt, hypocritical and deceitful, jealous and envious, filled with greed and ingratitude.”
“There is more conspiracy in Lilliput than anywhere else; there is the pettiness of small minds thinking themselves grand.”
What a perfect description of the type that exercises power today—in the name of “the people.”

Mr Galinsky’s parallelism of the Lilliputians and todays left is spot on and not to be taken tongue in cheek. His insightful observations and wit are right up there with the most published pundits of today. Can’t wait for his next impression of the world we are living in.
The Lilliputians in this living nightmare of a story we are in, is the far right wingnuts that do their kings bidding in the name of “ the people “
